GENERAL INFORMATION

Locker Rental
Locker rentals are available to those with an annual or continuous membership.

Issuing membership cards
When you join the YMCA you will receive a membership card that has your picture on it, if you are a family membership, all members will get a card. Your must swipe your membership card at the service desk as you enter the building on all visits.

Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available to those who are eligible. Applications are available at the YMCA of Yarmouth service desk. Please click here for more information.

Keep us up to Date
To better serve you, we ask that you keep your membership information up to date. Please notify the service desk of any banking or contact information changes.

User Day Pass
A day pass gives non-YMCA members the opportunity to use the facility for a day. Day passes can be purchased at the service desk.

Membership Cancellation Policy
The YMCA requires a minimum of ten (10) days advance notice if you wish to cancel a continuous membership. Annual memberships can be cancelled at any time. Cancellations must be made in person or sent by email or fax. Cancellations by phone are not accepted.

Member Etiquette

The YMCA is a shared experience for everyone to enjoy. YMCA members, volunteers and staff are expected to treat one another with respect.

We ask for your support in respecting the rights of all members to have an enjoyable experience. Please be aware that your actions have an effect on others. Unsafe or disrespectful behavior will result in removal of privileges.

Supervision of Children

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by someone who is 16 or older. The adult must be in the YMCA and aware of the childs’ location at all times.

Youths must be 12 and older to access the Fitness or Wellness Centre, or to participate in classes without an adult.

Children under 6 must be supervised in the pool by an adult at a ratio of 1-2.
